Our Story

My husband Alex and I spent 5 years and with Gods help 1 round going through IVF to have our daughter. It was harder, longer, and more expensive than we ever expected — and it’s the reason Helios + Selene exists.

We named the company after the Greek sun god and moon goddess: two forces that never touch, but together hold up the entire sky. It felt like the right name for something built out of both a hard chapter and the joy on the other side of it.

Right now, Helios + Selene is a small-batch candle company. Down the road, we want it to be more than that — a way to help other families facing the same struggle we did. We’ll share more as that takes shape.
